Name Meaning
Each time we gaze at the moon we see the cycle of time because the moon always looks different. It takes 29.5 days for the moon to complete it’s eight cycles from new moon to waning crescent moon.
The moon can be considered a universal symbol, recognized historically by cultures all over the globe, with different interpretations of its meaning.

Crescent Moon Counseling conceptualizes the moons meaning as an ever-evolving process of beginnings and endings. With each phase we begin again, set an intention, reflect, bring action, show gratitude, let go, and finally pause in stillness and peace with the final moon cycle. The waning crescent moon (as seen in the logo) is the last moon cycle. It symbolizes being in the here and now. A time to take a deep breath, and just be. A mindful moment of restoration to reconnect to yourself. I hope you will see the crescent moon as a reminder to pause and care for yourself before you go out and begin again.
